John 7:37-39 "If God Is Angry, Who Is He Is Angry With?"

John 7:37-39

37But on the last, the great day of the feast, Jesus had stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsting, let him come to Me and be drinking. 38The one trusting in Me, just as the Scripture said, ‘Out of his belly will flow rivers of living water.” (no specific OT reference, but for general idea see Isaiah 55: 1; 58: 11; Ezek 47: 1; Joel 3: 18; Zech 13: 1; 14: 8) 39But this He said concerning the Spirit, whom the ones trusting in Him were about to be receiving, for Holy Spirit was not yet, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

Good Day Child of God! "Father? Your Will Be Done!" A new day has dawned both figuratively and in reality. We left Jesus in the last Study later in the day with the discussion getting more than a little heated. After Jesus gave His teaching, they all left, and now we are at the last day of this Holiday Feast.

As we find Jesus this day, it is likely there has been some conversation already going on. Jesus didn't just come out to say, nor in a normal voice to boot, that which is our reading above. We are again in the Temple, the teaching groups are many, however is appears that the group around Jesus is the largest compared to the various other teachers, so Jesus practically screams His final words so all that could hear Him, would hear Him. The message is difficult, nearly similar to a parable, but as you will see in coming Studies, the number of Believers are many.

Today's easy lesson: Mankind has not changed much, if any, since Cain killed Able because he was jealous, nothing more. Cain killed his only brother because he was jealous. It's incredible to think such a thing could happen when Cain knew the Father in such a personal way, but that made no difference. The reason I bring this up is because with all the crazy things going on outside that Temple, from both Israelites and those that were not Israelite-people of the world, Jesus chose to stay the course of beating down religion, and its insidious ways of misguiding God's Chosen, let alone those He wants as His own. Jesus is speaking above of the Holy Spirit, which knowledgeable Israelites, including Jews, would be familiar with as coming ON people, prophets and others as needed, in the past. When the job was done, God took the Holy Spirit back, because since Adam and Eve, both of whom had the indwelling of the Holy Spirit only Jesus since had that same indwelling Spirit, making Him a complete person. When the Father told Adam and Eve "...you will surely die," meant death as taking the Holy Spirit out of them, so without the Holy Spirit, God considers you a dead person walking. With the Holy Spirit anything is possible, just ask Gideon, or Noah, Kind David, and so many more all given their ability by God through the Holy Spirit coming upon them. Think of what things they accomplished with God's Blessing, to say it simply. Now think of what you could do with God inside of you! But what is there for you to do?

How does this affect your walk as a Christian. I hear so many times out of the mouth of Christians that God is so angry He is going to Judge The World At Any Moment! May I ask one question? Why did God send Jesus to forgive the sins of the world, defeat death so that those that Trust in these Truths are given the Gift of Eternal Life? Were people worse then than they are now, or are we worse now than they were then? And if so, why do we say that all of our sins have been forgiven, past, present and future? And if that is true, just as a thought, why do some of you insist we must confess our sins which are already paid for on the Cross? The real question should be however, why is God angry at the world at this time? He is not. He wasn't angry at the world when Jesus came to lecture the Jews, the Religion. Is God Jewish, Muslim, Adventist, Catholic, Buddhist, Shinto, or any other religion you can name? Or is God all of these religions? I am telling you that God is NONE of any Religion, as Jesus says above concerning the Holy Spirit. God is God, and everything and anything that is good and righteous and just comes from Him. Period.

Did you know that in America since it was legalized, over 50,000,000 (fifty million) babies were killed by abortionists in this county. It is shocking, and what's more shocking is that some of the abortionists have been found to be selling parts of third trimester babies. Yes, it is legal to kill the baby as it is being born, which is done usually by poisoning the brain with a needle stick as they come out. Then harvest the parts in some cases as I hear it. You are a Christian you say. You go to church and follow the biggest, baddest Pastors on the television that preach from buildings that in some cases costs tens of millions of dollars, and in some a mere one hundred million dollars! Yes, I guess God could be very angry, but not at a world that hasn't changed any since Adam, Eve, and Cain. But you and I, we are privileged to be given a window of time to become a Child of God, and what are you doing about it? Are you even praying for these kids, how about donating money to stop it, that always works. It seems not, and if God is angry, just as Jesus was angry at the Jews for practicing religion instead of doing the right thing, you and I who call ourselves Saved should cower in shame for being stupidly religious. It's time to wake up and grow up my sisters and brothers. Nice stories coming from an over paid pastor in a building built for kings as children are killed all around like cattle is enough to make anyone angry. It's time to take an inventory of your value system and realize singing and raising hands is for you, and no one else. Sorry to bring such news to you when all I want my brothers and sisters to find is freedom and joy in their Father, but it seems we are just playing with God. That is not the thing to do, good thing He loves you and I so very much. Amen? Amen. Still there are things that should be tended to Christian. Have a Grace Day!
